The UMT711 – M-8-24 Rocket Launcher kit represents the Soviet M-8-24 multiple rocket launcher in 1/72 scale, used by the Red Army during World War II.

The M-8-24 system was designed to fire 82 mm M-8 rockets and was mounted on various truck chassis or mobile platforms. It belonged to the family of Soviet multiple rocket launchers widely used to deliver rapid and concentrated firepower against enemy positions.

Compact and mobile, the M-8-24 could saturate a target area within seconds before quickly relocating to avoid counter-battery fire. Such systems played a significant role on the Eastern Front.
