A 39 SOVIET SELF PROPELLED GUN

Description

In 1933, in the USSR, one of the special design bureau for mechanized forces, started design of the self propelled plant A-39 (T-26 chassis). Originally of this project was that 76mm gun. It was built in the rotating turret of a specialconstruction ( a prototype of the artillery tank). Owing to the objective and for subjective reasons, these weapons have not been launched in series. However experienceof designingand testing new projects contributed to the further development of serial samples of artillery tanks such as T-26-4 & BT-7A. (Scale : 1/72e)
