SOVIET GUN MODEL 76.2mm 1902/1930

Description

In 1902 old Tsarist Russian Army began to receive model 1900/02P guns made by Putilov factory. It bore many resemblances to contemporary Krupp designs and used conventional design of trail and carriage. After service during the WWI, model 1902 became a mainstay of new Red Army artillery divisions and in 1941 was still in use. In 1930 Russians decided to modernize their large stocks of elderly m1902 Putilov guns by incorporating new propellants, projectiles and new barrels. M1902/30 guns were in service during WWII and even used in North Vietnam till 1974. (Scale : 1/35e)
