Soviet T-26-1 light tank 1939 version

Description

The T-26 is a light infantry tank produced by the USSR from 1931 to 1941, in nearly twelve thousand units. Inspired by the Vickers 6-Ton, the production license had been purchased from the British, it is one of the most successful tanks of the 1930s. It forms the backbone of the armored forces of the Red Army in 1941, but thereafter from the appalling losses he suffered during the German offensive, he quickly lost this role in the face of more modern armored vehicles, and from mid-1942, he was relegated to secondary roles.
