Description

The Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) assault gun was the most widely produced military combat vehicle by Germany during World War II. It was built on the chassis of the Panzerkampfwagen III1. Originally designed as a light armored gun intended to support infantry, the StuG was modified and was widely used as a tank destroyer. The Sturmgeschütz series is recognized for its excellent price / quality ratio. By the end of the war, more than 10,500 units had been built.
