AJ-37 Viggen ‘Strike Fighter’

The SAAB 37 Viggen was truly a pioneering aircraft. The unconventional approaches taken by its designers not only allowed the aircraft to fulfill all its requirements but even exceeded them in certain aspects. The Swedish military placed orders for the jet in several different versions, all built on a shared platform. This platform, equipped with specialized gear, enabled the aircraft to be utilized in various roles.
