The Revell 03750 – Gloster Meteor F.8 is a 1/32 scale model kit of the most advanced production version of the famous Gloster Meteor, Britain's first operational jet fighter.

Although introduced near the end of World War II, the Meteor became one of the most important jet aircraft of the post-war period. The F.8 variant, introduced in 1949, featured a longer fuselage, enlarged tail unit, improved cockpit and significantly enhanced flying characteristics compared with earlier versions.

Powered by two Rolls-Royce Derwent turbojet engines, the Meteor F.8 served extensively with the Royal Air Force during the early Cold War years. It was also exported to numerous air forces worldwide and saw combat service during the Korean War with the Royal Australian Air Force.

Armed with four 20 mm Hispano cannons mounted in the nose, the Meteor F.8 was an effective interceptor and fighter during the formative years of jet aviation. Its distinctive twin-engine layout and historical importance make it one of the most recognizable aircraft of the early jet era.
