Description

French single seat fighter produced in 1917 and based on its predecessor the Nieuport 17bis. The plane had a similar fuselage to the 17bis, but the design and shape of the wings and also the horizontal and vertical tails were new. Initialy, the aircraft was planned as a competitor to another famous fighter, the SPAD VII, but it was soon sent back from the front line because of structural problems. (Scale : 1/72e)
