The MINI48060 – P-47M Thunderbolt, Dorsal Fin, Basic Kit represents the Republic P-47M Thunderbolt in its dorsal fin configuration at 1/48 scale.

The P-47M was one of the highest-performance variants of the famous American Thunderbolt fighter. Developed late in World War II to counter high-speed threats, it featured engine and performance improvements. The addition of the dorsal fin enhanced directional stability and is a distinctive feature of certain late-production aircraft.

This “Basic Kit” edition focuses on the essential airframe components while maintaining accurate overall shapes, finely recessed panel lines and detailed surface features. It provides a solid foundation for building a late-war USAAF aircraft operating in the European Theater.
