The "A-4M Sky Hawk 87256" model kit provides an outstanding replica of the renowned A-4M Sky Hawk fighter aircraft. This 1:72 scale model is based on Douglas's design, responding to a U.S. Navy call for a jet-powered attack aircraft to replace the aging A-1 Skyraider. Douglas prioritized a design that minimized size, weight, and complexity, resulting in an aircraft weighing only half of the Navy's weight specification. Its compact wing did not require folding for carrier stowage.
