MIL Mi-4A HOUND A - 1/72

Description

The Mi-4 "Hound" is a piston transport helicopter developed by the former Soviet Union. The total output was about 3,000 before the cessation of production in 1969. The aircraft has a conventional layout with a four-blade main rotor installed above the middle of the fuselage. The piston engine is installed on the nose, behind the crew compartment, and the cockpit above the rear of the nose. In 1952, the mass-produced Mi-4 entered service in the army and replaced the Mi-1. The Mi-4 was used for the first time. The world knows it as the Soviet Aviation Festival held in Tusino in 1952.
