LTV’s A-7 "Pirate" II is a light attack aircraft developed on the basis of the F-8 "Crusader". The A-7 is the world's first aircraft equipped with a head-up display, Doppler inertial navigation device, and turbofan engine. It has served in the US Navy and the US Air Force and National Guard, and later had also exported to Vietnam (during the Vietnam War), Greece (A-7H), Portugal (A-7P) and Thailand.
