rocket launcher on a Russian truck chassis, developed since the early 1960s.
Some other countries have also introduced or imitated the rocket launcher
system.
The BM-21 122mm Multiple Rocket Launcher (MRL)
entered service with the former Soviet Army in early 1963 to replace the 140mm
BM-14 rocket launcher.
