Description

The development plan of the super-heavy tank E-100 is to try out two prototypes, and then choose production equipment from them. One of them uses a KwK44 150mm gun, and the other uses a newly designed turret and a KwK44 128mm gun. The plan began in June 1943 and went smoothly until late 1944, but was suspended by Hitler, leaving only three technicians to continue work. By the end of the war they had almost completed the hull, but neither of the two planned turrets could be built. The British Army discovered and seized it, and it was discarded after being transported to the UK for research.
