Product History

The Dewoitine D.500 is a French interwar fighter built by Dewoitine. It was the first monoplane aircraft with low cantilever wings to enter service with the French Air Force. It was put into service in March 1935 and if the aircraft caused a sensation when it appeared in 1932, it was quickly overtaken by the evolution of techniques between 1934 and 1936.
