Description

The Triumph TR4A is a British sports car, which was first presented to the public in 1965. Its production began in the same year and lasted only two years - until 1967. All production was carried out in the factories of the city of Coventry in Great Britain.

The TR4A model was developed and put into production to replace the TR4 model in the Triumph Motor Company offering. The new model, however, was an evolutionary development of its predecessor rather than a revolutionary change. First of all, externally, both vehicles were very similar and, in fact, differed in details (for example, side mirrors or grille), they also used the same 4-speed gearbox. However, they differed in their engines, as they were both powered by a 2.1-liter unit, but in the TR4A model, its maximum power and torque were increased. The two models (TR4 and TR4A) also differed in the suspension system. In the company's offer, the TR4A model was replaced by the TR5 model.
