The ACE 72607 – BL 4.5-inch Field Gun Mk.2 is a 1/72 scale model kit of one of the most important British medium artillery pieces used during World War II.

The BL 4.5-inch Field Gun Mk.2 was developed to provide long-range artillery support for British and Commonwealth forces. Firing 114 mm ammunition, it delivered greater range and firepower than lighter field guns, making it particularly effective for counter-battery missions and long-range support operations.

The weapon served on numerous fronts, including North Africa, Italy and Northwest Europe, where it played a significant role in Allied artillery operations. Its distinctive appearance, featuring a long barrel mounted on a wheeled carriage, makes it an attractive subject for military modelers.
