The JB-2 Loon is a 1/32 scale model kit of the JB-2 Loon, the American copy of the German V1 flying bomb (Fieseler Fi 103).

The JB-2 was developed during World War II and was intended for use against Japan. However, the end of the war following the deployment of the atomic bomb prevented its planned combat use.

Nevertheless, the JB-2 Loon was officially accepted into service by the US Army, USAAF, and US Navy, remaining in use for testing, development and training purposes until the mid-1950s.

This Special Hobby kit represents an important step in the evolution of American guided missile technology and post-war aerospace development. The decal options provide markings for four different U.S. JB-2 missiles, including three finished in Olive Green and one in an overall white scheme.
