The Revell 03747 – Boeing C-17A Globemaster III is a 1/144 scale model kit of one of the world's most important strategic military transport aircraft.

Developed by Boeing for the U.S. Air Force, the C-17A Globemaster III first flew in 1991 and entered operational service in 1995. Designed to transport troops, heavy equipment, vehicles and supplies over long distances, it combines a large payload capacity with the ability to operate from short or semi-prepared airfields.

Powered by four Pratt & Whitney F117 turbofan engines, the C-17 can carry main battle tanks, helicopters, armored vehicles and large cargo loads to deployment areas around the globe. It is also capable of performing medical evacuation, airborne assault, humanitarian relief and airdrop missions.

The Globemaster III has participated in numerous military and humanitarian operations since the 1990s. Its versatility and logistical capabilities have made it a cornerstone of U.S. and allied airlift operations.
