The Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation is one of the most iconic airliners of the golden age of commercial aviation. Introduced in the 1950s, it immediately stood out for its elegant silhouette with a tapered fuselage and distinctive triple tail. Used notably by Lufthansa from 1955 onwards, it played a major role in the development of transatlantic routes after the Second World War.
