The MINI48062 – P-47N-1RE Thunderbolt, Advanced Kit represents the P-47N-1RE variant of the iconic American fighter Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, in 1/48 scale.

The P-47N was the final production version of the Thunderbolt, specifically developed for very long-range operations in the Pacific Theater. Featuring redesigned extended wings with integrated additional fuel capacity, it was optimized for escorting B-29 bombers during missions over Japan. Its durability, heavy armament and payload capacity made it a highly versatile late-war fighter.

This “Advanced Kit” edition offers an enhanced level of detail tailored to demanding modelers. The distinctive features of the P-47N – extended wingspan, characteristic wingtips and late-production configuration – are accurately reproduced. The cockpit, engine, landing gear and control surfaces provide a solid foundation for advanced painting and weathering techniques.
