The MINI48033 – Thunderbolt Mk.I, Royal Air Force, Basic Kit represents the well-known American fighter-bomber Republic P-47 Thunderbolt in its Royal Air Force service version, designated Thunderbolt Mk.I, in 1/48 scale.

Renowned for its rugged construction, powerful engine and heavy payload capacity, the P-47 saw extensive service in multiple theaters. In RAF service, the Thunderbolt Mk.I was primarily deployed in the Far East, particularly in Burma and India, where it performed ground-attack and tactical strike missions.

This “Basic Kit” allows modelers to accurately build the RAF-operated Thunderbolt Mk.I. The aircraft’s distinctive bulky fuselage, large engine cowling and characteristic wing profile are finely reproduced.
