Description

The MiniArt 35437 – Australian Stuart Mk.I is a 1/35 scale model kit of the M3 Stuart light tank used by Australian forces during World War II.

Derived from the American M3 Stuart supplied to Commonwealth forces, the Stuart Mk.I was widely used by the Australian Army in the Pacific Theater. Compact, fast and reliable, the light tank proved particularly effective in jungle warfare conditions across New Guinea and Pacific islands.

Unlike desert operations in North Africa, Australian Stuarts operated in tropical environments where mobility and small size were major advantages. They were mainly employed for infantry support, reconnaissance and close support missions.

This MiniArt kit accurately reproduces the distinctive features of the Australian Stuart Mk.I with a high level of detail. It includes finely engraved surfaces, realistic textures and detailed chassis and hull components.

The model also features photo-etched parts and clear components to enhance realism. Hatches can typically be assembled in open or closed positions depending on the desired display configuration.
