Product History

The M-706, also known as the V-100 Commando or XM706E2, was built by Cadillac Gage in 1964 to be used in Vietnam for reconnaissance, convoy escort, base perimeter defence and other security tasks. He was deployed to the US Army and the US Air Force, as well as to South Vietnamese and Thai forces, and then found clients in military and police organizations around the world. With armour up to 0.25 inches and deflecting inclined surfaces, the crew was protected against small arms, grenades and landmines.
