The CSMA35-066 – Driver’s Shutter with Vision Slot is a 1/35 scale upgrade set designed to replicate the driver’s protective shutter with vision slit, a characteristic feature found on certain British military vehicles of the First World War.

In combat environments, the driver’s position was particularly exposed. Installing an armored shutter with a narrow vision slit provided protection against shrapnel and small-arms fire while still allowing limited forward visibility for maneuvering. As a highly visible external detail, this component significantly enhances the historical accuracy and realism of a finished model.

This set allows modelers to add or replace the driver’s shutter on a compatible kit, achieving a more refined and accurate configuration. It is particularly suitable for British Tender builds or other compatible period vehicles.
